FAQ
Your party package includes games, activities, story time, singing, and a character meet & greet opportunity for all guests featuring the character of your choosing. For birthdays, your booking also includes singing "Happy Birthday" and a tiara for the guest of honor. For other events, your booking includes a special "Thank You" note from your visiting character to the guest of honor.
Your Practically Perfect character will bring all of the materials they need to conduct party activities. Your party package does not include any elements of your party beyond your contracted activities, such as party decorations, food and beverages, or birthday cake. Please note that while our characters are happy to celebrate your special occasion, they cannot handle food, carry cakes, or light candles during your event.
To book your event, fill out our Booking Inquiry form. The more information you can provide us up front, the better we can plan your event. Upon receipt and review, you will receive a final event contract confirming your event and a link to pay your deposit. All events require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is then billed and due no more than 7 days in advance of your event.
As an event host, it is your responsibility to provide your character(s) with a gathering space for all guests and one seat per performer. It can be helpful to have a table or other similar surface available for your performer(s), especially if your package includes a craft or princess makeovers. Some examples of great setups include:
-A folding chair for the Performer and a blanket on the ground for party guests.
-Throw pillows on the ground for all, including a designated pillow for the Performer.
-One chair for the Performer, one chair for the Guest of Honor, and open floor space for additional guests.
-Chairs for all attendees, including a designated seat for the Performer.
Feel free to get creative with your arrangements! Setting up a designated space for our performers helps us ensure a smooth, safe, and successful event.
On the day of your event, your Performer(s) will contact you via text message approximately 10 minutes before your event start time to let you know they have arrived. This is a great time to provide any last-minute details about your event (i.e. "Enter through the side gate," "We are in Party Room 3," etc.). Just before your event start time, we encourage you to gather all guests to welcome your Performer. Upon arrival, your Performer will swiftly get the party started in your designated setup area.
Once your event has started, you can rest assured knowing your Performer has things under control. We encourage you to partake in activities with your child(ren) or capture the day. Throughout your event, your Performer may check in with you regarding the timing of key events, such as singing "Happy Birthday". Please keep yourself accessible throughout your event.
At the conclusion of your event, your Performer will gather all of their belongings before departing. Performers will always notify the event host before their departure.
Practically Perfect Princess Parties monitors conditions for all upcoming events. If inclement weather is anticipated within 72 hours of your event, we will contact you to discuss options. These may include:
-Relocating to a new location, whether at the same address or a different one.
-Adjusting the event time to avoid inclement weather.
-Adjusting the event date.
All options will be discussed and decided on a case-by-case basis. As a general rule, performers cannot be outside in rain, snow, high winds, or excessive temperatures (Above 95 degrees or Below 50 degrees*).
*30-minute Meet & Greet Events may not be impacted by these ranges. Inquire about your specific event.
